Carolyn Glass conducted a two-year group parent education program teaching the principles of communicating partners at the Center for Creative Play associated with the University of Pittsburgh. The training involved video training tapes as well as live demonstrations with the children and monthly meeting discussing progress and questions. While no formal evaluations were feasible, survey of over 40 parents revealed that they felt they had learned both about their child's development and their personal role in it. Over half of the parents reported increased interaction in their children within three months.
